 Adult Sailing Lessons Sail Newport offers Group Adult Learn-to-Sail, Adult Intermediate and Adult Advanced courses from early June through Labor Day weekend. Each session consists of six hours instruction over a three day period. Classes are limited to a maximum of three students with a single instructor, and are taught in our fleet of J/22's and Rhodes 19's. All levels of skill are offered each session, providing you with the flexibility to take as many courses as you wish, when you wish. Adult Program Schedule Weekday Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Morning Session 9:30 - 11:30 am Evening Session 6:00 - 8:00 pm Weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday Friday 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday/Sunday 9:30 - 11:30 am Sail Newport reserves the right to change, reschedule or cancel any classes at any time. The program is designed for a ratio of three students, and one instructor per boat. Private Instruction We also offer private instruction, with certified instructors, for all skill levels ages 12 and older. Private lessons provide a one-on-one experience as arefresher, confidence builder, or introduction to the sport of sailing.
