2010 Sail Newport J/22 Fleet Racing
Sail Newport J/22's are available to race in a variety of racing disciplines. Each are great opportunities to participate in an organized and competitive evening fleet and enjoy the benefits of sailing and racing--without the headaches of boat ownership!
Please note that for the purposes of the Sail Newport fleet of J/22s, we will continue to swap the nights that boats will sail: Tuesday nights will be NON-SPINNAKER racing, and Wednesday night will be SPINNAKER racing, as it was last year. This is to enable Sail Newport to further develop a Jr. Keelboat racing program, and, hopefully also to increase the number of competitors spinnaker racing.

CHARTER A BOAT FOR TUESDAY NIGHT NON-SPINNAKER RACING Boats are available on a first chartered, first served basis. A total of ten boats will be made available to charter from the fleet .
CHARTER A BOAT FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT SPINNAKER RACING
Wednesday Night One Design Series is hosted by Newport Yacht Club. This is a great intro to racing, and a wonderful opportunity to introduce kids to keelboat racing. A total of 10 boats from the Sail Newport J/22 fleet will be made available.

A separate regatta registration with Newport YC (host for the series) is required. Registration/racing packets can be obtained from the NYC Office and Sail Newport Dock Office. The NOR, SIs, schedule, announcements and results will all be found at the Newport YC site.
