Brad Read, Executive Director
Brad came to Sail Newport in 1998 from the sailmaking business where he worked for 12 years. Brad and his wife Cara have 2 children, Brendan (8) and Rebecca (6)
Ever since Brad joined the Sail Newport team, the focus of the growth and expansion of Sail Newport has been on the Youth Program. Besides being a dad, Brad has won 2 J/24 World Championships and continues to be one of the region's most successful sailors.

Kim Cooper, Marketing Director
Kim Cooper has been the Sail Newport Marketing Director and Regatta Coordinator since 1998. Kim brings her blend of humor and get things done attitude to the management staff. She is a valued member of the team. She lives in Newport and just celebrated the first birthday of her golden retriever "Aggie".

Kim Hapgood, Program Director
Kim Hapgood is one of the highest ranking USSAILING Instructors. She was the recipient of the Sailing Director of the year Award when she was the Executive Director at the Martin County Sailng Center. Kim has been at Sail Newport since 1997 and is in charge of the SN Programs and Facilities. Kim is currently racing in the Women's Swedish Match Tour and is a former Rolex Women's Keelboat Champion.
