Support Sail Newport’s Purpose
Many people love what we do. We love what we do. Your Business Membership has a direct impact on our nonprofit organization’s purpose – to provide public sailing opportunities and access to Narragansett Bay. We start teaching sailors at age five and offer programs for all skill levels and ages. In addition to being caretakers of the beautiful Sailing Center in Fort Adams State Park, our mission is to serve the community. We don’t say no to community groups and schools who want their students to experience sailing, whether they have funding or need our support. For avid sailors, we offer affordable storage, hoists, dockage and sailing center services for the best prices on the East Coast. Our regatta entrants come from all over the world to participate in local, national and world championship in our world-class venue.

Our online Business Member Directory showcases the business that support community sailing. Logos are placed according to the tier of membership ($5,000, $2,500, $1,500, $400, $200). All logos are linked to your business as we encourage our community to support those who support us! Please reach out if you would like your logo replaced or link changed.
Member Rates for Employees
Sail Newport extends member rates to your employees for programs, events and sailing center services. Share with your employees your membership and we will extend those member rates.

Member Rate on Venue Rental
The Sail Newport Sailing Center has spectacular views from the covered decks of our Marine Education and Recreation Center located on the water in Fort Adams State Park. Guests enjoy sweeping views of Newport Harbor, Brenton Cove and downtown Newport from our unique location. Receive Invitations and Sailing News
All business employees will receive invitations to events and the sailing news we publish.
Invite to annual Business Member Social
Each year we gather all of our Business Members to recognize their support, update the community on Sail Newport news and progress, and enjoy a bite and a cocktail.
Employees Invited to Summer Sunset Cocktail Parties
In 2025 we hosted a series of member socials on our deck. It’s a great time for sailor camaraderie, drink specials, games, entertainment and food. Your business will receive four complimentary tickets to each of our Sunset Member Socials.
Tier 3 Logo on Facility Banners
We have a busy sailing center during the season and two banners provide recognition for our business members. One banner is exhibited in our Dock Office. A second banner is printed and displayed at regattas and events for additional business member promotion.

Complimentary Business Meeting Rental
As a Business Sponsor Member, your business is invited to host a meeting at Sail Newport free from a rental fee.
Our 11th Hour Racing Great Room has unique waterfront views; seven floor-to-ceiling double doors; men’s and women’s restroom facilities on the same floor; access to full kitchen; elevator access; sustainable building design and natural wood features.
The meeting is based on availability for one half-day business meeting rental (four hours) as available.
