Welcome to Sail Newport, Rhode Island’s Public Sailing Center. We’re located in Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island in the southwest of Newport Harbor. We are thrilled to be partnering with Dockwa for our Summer on-land storage at Sail Newport. This marina management software company has worked with us to make it easier and more efficient to store your boat at Sail Newport.
There are a few steps to the process.
1) Membership Requirement
- To be eligible for summer storage (May 1-October 15), membership in Sail Newport is required and you may Join Here.
- If you are already a member, proceed by choosing a boat type and storage area indicated below via the blue buttons.
2) Apply online for storage space (This is a three-step process.)
- Dockwa will invite you to start an account, it’s not mandatory, but we recommend this as it takes less than a minute and your information will be saved and populated ultimately saving you time.
- Submit an inquiry for storage, you will then receive an immediate email that we have received your inquiry.
- Once your inquiry is reviewed, you will receive an email confirming or denying availability for your inquiry. If confirmed, your email will include a link to pay for your storage and sign a contract.
