Message from Brad Read, Executive Director
While we are all living with health, economic and social realities of the pandemic, I’d like to thank those of you who have renewed memberships, reached out to support us financially through donations, and taken part in our sailing opportunities! This year, more than ever, your non-profit sailing center needs you. Please encourage all your crew to join SN
or make a gift
to our annual fund.
Sail Newport is working with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM), the Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Business Regulations (DBR) for the new guidance for the summer of 2021.
In the Meantime – We continue to Get the Sailing Center Ready
We are working carefully to keep a safe-distance while at the same time launching and cleaning docks, getting the hoists ready and painting and rigging boats. When it’s time for the Sailing Center to open fully, we’ll be ready for you!
