Sail Newport Marine Exploration Program had a great time at the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard. Kids toured the marina with Veronica and discussed the connections between the powerboats they operate to the “powerboats” at the shipyard. Students talked with the staff operating the travel lifts and other shipyard operations. We are lucky to have such a wonderful local partner committed to marine industry education for kids!
