Day 2 of the MEP 5th Grade Vacation Program was a success! Students learned the importance of plankton’s existence and how its physical shape allows it to “wander” through the water- Sailors for the Sea KELP Activity. The 5th Graders then compared plankton’s design to man-made boats by building tinfoil boats! Students were eager to get back to the beach before the end of the day!
