How much trash is near the bay? By Oliver and Erlin- two TMS 6th Graders.

Today we explored Fort Adams. We ventured from Sail Newport’s main building to the military housing area and back to Sail Newport’s dry storage.  On this walk, we picked up about 15-20lbs of trash! We found Nerf bullets, ropes, straws, water bottles, drinkware caps, and broken bits of plastic.  Next time you have trash, throw it away in a trash can or keep it in your pocket till you can dispose of it properly.
