All about Coral! MEP Session 3 Marine Science discussed the importance of Coral to reefs and the ocean! We checked out an animal on the docks and used our criteria to decide if it was coral! Next, we looked at some Coral from Costa Rica and compared it to RI’s State Coral. Kids then did Sailors for the Sea Coral Polyp edible activity to learn the anatomy of coral. We of course ended our day with beach exploration!
